Geraint’s much-celebrated 2004 album ‘Dial ‘W’ for Watkins’ has a 2xCD reissue with a bonus disc of outtakes, ‘Chicken or the Egg’.  From this album Bob Dylan played both ‘Only a Rose’ and ‘Go West’ on his Theme Time Radio Show; and ‘Heaven’ featured on the preacher family satire The Righteous Gemstones.  When researching the outakes, Geraint found a full band version of ‘Bring Me the Head of My So-Called Lover’ recorded at RAK Studios.  It precedes the album as a digital single on October 23^rd. 

Many have heard Geraint without knowing it.  Following his 1979 album Geraint Watkins & the Dominators he became the go-to rock’n’roll guy; backing Shakin’ Stevens, Dave Edmunds, Rory Gallagher and more.  These led him to play with legends like Van Morrison, Paul McCartney, Mark Knopfler, Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings, Nick Lowe, Eric Clapton, Status Quo, Roger Daltrey amongst others.  He’s released five solo albums and been covered a number of times.  

However it’s his songwriting and character that shine through on his five solo albums. He retains a hard-core fan-base, further intriguing them with live Facebook videos on tour and at home. Don McLean, Pokey LaFarge, Dave Edmunds, NRBQ, Pearl Harbor and the Holmes Brothers have all covered his songs. He's been seen on a 2008 TV appearance on ‘Later… with Jools Holland’ with Nick Lowe in his band, and as a front-man of 'Willie & the Poor Boys' backed by Eric Clapton, Bill Wyman, Ron Wood et al.
