JOHNNY THUNDERS & THE HEARTBREAKERS
'DEAD OR ALIVE'  DVD

!!! LAST FEW COPIES !!!

'Dead Or Alive' is outrageous, funny, poignant, capturing Johnny & the Heartbreakers' raunchy rock'n'roll and New York Doll sleeze, giving an intriguing insight into a legend who has been called the epitome of the spirit of rock'n'roll.

As well as the Heartbreakers concert at the London Lyceum in
1984 (with Jerry Nolan, Walter Lure, & Billy Rath), the film is intercut with clips of the Heartbreakers on the UK 'Anarchy' tour of '76 from Don Letts' 'Punk Rock Movie'; Johnny performing solo in the studio; the Heartbreakers at the Marquee '84; excerpts of Johnny acting in a French feature-film; interviews, and more.

Now the DVD edition adds extra material: feature-films excerpts of The Heartbreakers arriving at an airport for a gig; The Heartbreakers acting post-gig hotel scenes; a six-minute interview with Johnny, plus a trailer for Lech Kowalski’s unreleased film ‘Born To Lose – The Last Rock’n’Roll Movie’.

The video contains 17 songs in total:-
Chinese Rocks, Pipeline, Personality Crisis, One Track Mind, Too Much Junkie Business, Born To Lose, Hurt Me, You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory, Eve Of Destruction/Like A Rolling Stone, In Cold Blood, Seven Day Weekend, So Alone, Just Because I'm White, Baby Talk, Do You Love Me, & Sad Vacation
.

*Be prepared to spot these: Johnny famously did some studio overdubs for the live album soundtrack release with another company.
On two or three tracks it remains evident, where the video editors decided they couldn't cut away from the action
